Clubhouse News Country Springs Weekly School Newsletter

Week of 10/2/2026

Dear All Star Families,

As we wrap up Parent-Teacher Conference Week, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our Country Springs families who took the time to meet with teachers. Your partnership and involvement make a tremendous difference in your child's educational journey.

At Country Springs Elementary, we believe that the strongest student success comes from a collaborative relationship between home and school. Parent-teacher conferences provide an important opportunity to celebrate student accomplishments, discuss areas for growth, and work together to develop goals that support each child's learning. When families and educators communicate openly and work as a team, students benefit academically, socially, and emotionally.

We appreciate your commitment to staying informed about your child's progress and for the trust you place in our dedicated staff each day. Our teachers value these conversations and look forward to continuing our partnership throughout the school year.

Don't forget that this Wednesday is our Pink Out Day! We invite all students and staff to wear pink as we come together to show support, spread kindness, and promote awareness. We are excited to see our school community fill the campus with pink and school spirit!

Thank you again for being such an important part of the Country Springs family. Together, we can continue to make this a wonderful year of learning, growth, and success for all students.

PFA Fall Fundraiser Begins Monday!

Country Springs is stepping up to the plate! Our PFA's Fall Fundraiser, Road to the World Series, runs October 5–16.

Students will collect donations from family and friends. Every donation helps their class round the bases to unlock classroom rewards, students earn individual prizes along the way, and the top class in each division will be crowned Grand Slam Champions.

All proceeds benefit Country Springs students, funding learning software, field trips, assemblies, live performances, and teacher support.

Mark your calendar: a flyer with your registration QR code comes home today, Friday, October 2. Registering takes just a few minutes, and signing up early helps your child's class earn its very first reward!

Let's score big together!

Counselor's Corner

HELLO OCTOBER! We have an exciting month ahead of us here at Country Springs Elementary! This month, we will be hosting our Red Ribbon Week and Literature Day. October is a wonderful time to reflect on what we’re thankful for and to help students build awareness of their feelings, actions, and choices. We want our All Stars to be equipped with self-confidence, resilience and problem solving skills since these are the tools that help us bounce back from challenges, believe in ourselves, and find solutions when things get tough.Whether it’s a tricky math problem, a friendship conflict, or a moment of self-doubt, we remind students:

  • “I can do hard things.”

  • “Mistakes help me learn.”

  • “Asking for help is a smart choice.”

Let’s keep encouraging our students to try, reflect, and grow, because every challenge is a chance to become stronger. I will be hosting a couple of Wellness Wednesdays this month where students are invited to join me for calming activities and conversations that support emotional wellness. Make sure to model gratitude at home: Try a “thankful jar” where family members write one thing they’re grateful for each day. It’s a great way to build connection and positivity! Please reach out to me if you have any additional questions or concerns

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to another amazing year together!

Lost and Found - LABEL ALL ITEMS

We’re excited to introduce a new system to help keep our Lost and Found organized and efficient. At the end of each month, all unclaimed items will be cleared out and donated to support families in need. This not only helps us maintain a tidy campus but also ensures that forgotten items find a second life.

To minimize the number of lost items, we kindly ask that all personal belongings—including jackets, water bottles, and lunch pails—are clearly labeled with your child’s name. Labeled items are much more likely to be returned quickly!

We also encourage parents to remind their children to check the Lost and Found regularly. As part of this new system, we’ll be incorporating student reminders at school to help build this habit.

Next donation will be on October 30, 2026.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school environment organized, responsible, and sustainable!

Morning Procedures and Parking Lot Etiquette

Please be sure to follow our pick up and drop off expectations to keep our All Stars safe! We appreciate your patience in waiting to drop off and pick up your child; please be courteous to one another and the staff out on duty. All drivers must remain in their cars.

For safety reasons, please use cross-walks and sidewalks only. Do not cross the driveways.
