Clubhouse News Country Springs Weekly School Newsletter

Week of 9/25/2026

Dear All Star Families,

Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place next week, September 28 through October 2, 2026. We look forward to welcoming families as we come together to celebrate student growth, discuss progress, and set goals for continued success.

Please remember that all week will be minimum days to accommodate conference schedules. Dismissal times will be:

  • Grades 1-6: 11:20 a.m.
  • All Kindergarten classes: 11:10 a.m.

Parent-teacher conferences are an important opportunity for families and teachers to collaborate in support of each child's learning. At Country Springs Elementary, we believe that education is most successful when school and home work together as partners. By sharing insights, asking questions, and discussing goals, we can create the best possible plan to help every student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

If you have not yet scheduled a conference, please contact your student's teacher as soon as possible. Your partnership is valued, and we look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's progress and success this school year.

Thank you for your continued support of our All Stars! Together, we can help every student shine.

PFA Fall Fundraiser

Country Springs is stepping up to the plate! Our PFA's Fall Fundraiser, Road to the World Series, runs October 5–16.

Students will collect donations from family and friends. Every donation helps their class round the bases to unlock classroom rewards, students earn individual prizes along the way, and the top class in each division will be crowned Grand Slam Champions.

All proceeds benefit Country Springs students, funding learning software, field trips, assemblies, live performances, and teacher support.

Mark your calendar: a flyer with your registration QR code comes home Friday, October 2. Registering takes just a few minutes, and signing up early helps your child's class earn its very first reward!

Let's score big together!

Parent Input Needed!

We Want to Hear From You: PBIS Family Survey (Survey closes on October 9th)

At our school, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) helps us create a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment where all students can thrive. Through PBIS, we teach and reinforce positive behaviors, build strong relationships, and establish consistent expectations across our campus. We value your perspective! Please take a few minutes to complete our PBIS Family Survey and share your experience. Your feedback will help us celebrate what is working well and identify ways we can continue to improve our schoolwide practices. There are no right or wrong answers, so we encourage you to respond honestly based on your family's experience.

Pastries with Papa

We are excited to invite all Country Springs families to our upcoming Pastries with Papa event on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. in the Hall of Fame! This special morning is a wonderful opportunity for students to enjoy breakfast and spend time with their dad, grandpa, stepdad, uncle, or another special father figure. A flyer with RSVP information will be sent home soon. Please complete and return the RSVP form to your child’s teacher no later than September 25, 2026, so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to seeing our families for this fun and memorable event!

ThinkNLocal Fundraiser

Country Springs families can help support our school by participating in our ThinkNLocal Fundraiser, running from September 18 through November 1. Simply shop at participating businesses in the 99 Ranch Plaza, then write your student's name and teacher's name on the receipt and turn it in to your child's teacher. Receipts may also be submitted electronically by uploading a photo using the QR code provided on the fundraiser flyer.

Every receipt helps raise funds for programs and activities that benefit our students. Be sure to watch for fundraiser flyers coming home with your child. Thank you for supporting our school and our local businesses!

GATE Presentation

Thank you to all the families who were able to attend our recent GATE Parent Meeting! We appreciate your partnership in supporting our gifted learners. If you were unable to attend, we invite you to review the attached presentation slides, which also include Mandarin translations.

The presentation includes information about the characteristics of gifted students, support students will receive through the GATE program, ways families can support gifted learners at home, and GATE screening procedures. We hope these resources help families better understand the program and the many ways we can work together to support our students.

Family Engagement Policy and School Compacts

Our school's 2026-2027 Family Engagement Policy and School-Parent-Student Compact(s) are available for review on our school website. These documents outline our shared commitment to supporting student success through strong partnerships between families, students, and the school. We encourage all families to review these important resources at their convenience. Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education.

Counselor's Corner

We made it to September! Woohoo! Fall and cooler weather is so close! What a month of easing back into the school year, teaching our All Stars our school-wide expectations, handing out Trading Cards for good behavior and choices, Healthy Minds Lessons in classrooms and seeing the growth of our amazing All Stars. Teaching and talking to your All Star students on ways to manage their emotions at the beginning of the school year can help your students learn (or re-learn) the skills they will need to adjust to the school year and navigate the challenges that the upcoming months may bring. Something fun that we talked about in our Healthy Minds Lessons was the importance of how the adults in our lives can help us and make sure that we have Healthy Minds. Incorporate a conversation with your All Star to see what fun activity you all can do as a family that makes them smile. In September, I will be hosting our first Social Emotional Lunchtime Activity with the students! This year, I will continue to focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL), positive self talk, building positive relationships, friendship skills, social skills and the importance of conversation skills.

Also, don't forget to recognize and reward your All Stars at home! Use the At-Home Trading Card to celebrate students who are following family expectations and making positive choices.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to another amazing year together!

Lost and Found - LABEL ALL ITEMS

We’re excited to introduce a new system to help keep our Lost and Found organized and efficient. At the end of each month, all unclaimed items will be cleared out and donated to support families in need. This not only helps us maintain a tidy campus but also ensures that forgotten items find a second life.

To minimize the number of lost items, we kindly ask that all personal belongings—including jackets, water bottles, and lunch pails—are clearly labeled with your child’s name. Labeled items are much more likely to be returned quickly!

We also encourage parents to remind their children to check the Lost and Found regularly. As part of this new system, we’ll be incorporating student reminders at school to help build this habit.

Next donation will be on October 30, 2026.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school environment organized, responsible, and sustainable!

Morning Procedures and Parking Lot Etiquette

Please be sure to follow our pick up and drop off expectations to keep our All Stars safe! We appreciate your patience in waiting to drop off and pick up your child; please be courteous to one another and the staff out on duty. All drivers must remain in their cars.

For safety reasons, please use cross-walks and sidewalks only. Do not cross the driveways.
