The PFA Silent Auction was an outstanding success! A heartfelt thank you to our incredible PFA volunteers and to all of the families who participated by bidding on the many unique and exciting auction items.

Thanks to your generosity and support, we not only met our fundraising goal but significantly exceeded it. The funds raised will directly benefit our students by supporting school programs, field trips, classroom supplies, student performances, awards, educational assemblies, and many other enriching opportunities throughout the year.

We are truly grateful for the partnership and commitment of our Country Springs community. Together, we continue to provide exceptional experiences for our students.

This informational meeting is an opportunity to meet the PFA officers, review the expectations and responsibilities of Room Parents, and receive all the information and resources you need to have a successful year supporting your classroom and school community.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, our Fall Silent Auction raised over $6,900 to support our students, helping fund classroom supplies, activities, and field trips all year long. Additionally, our Country Springs Family Night at Angels Stadium is officially SOLD OUT!

A few quick notes for our auction winners:

• All Auction Winners have been notified by email. 
• Item pickup (baskets, gift cards & tickets) is Tuesday, September 8 at 2:30 PM, right after school. Can't make that time? Email cs.3rdvp@gmail.com and we'll coordinate another date.
• Prefer to have your student pick up your item? That's fine, just let us know in advance at cs.3rdvp@gmail.com so we can have it ready for them.
• Angels ticket holders will receive an email next week with instructions to access their tickets through the MLB App.

Smile! Picture Day is coming to Country Springs Elementary on Tuesday, September 8. School portraits will be taken throughout the day by School Portraits by Adams Photography.

Classes are scheduled for their picture sessions between 8:00 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. Please help your child be ready for their photo by ensuring they arrive at school on time and dressed for their picture.

Picture Day is a wonderful opportunity to capture this year's school memories. We look forward to seeing all of our students' bright smiles!

Parents and students interested in participating in the CVUSD Science Fair are invited to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in Room 20 (Ms. Hensley’s classroom).

The Science Fair provides students with a unique opportunity to explore their curiosity, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and engage in hands-on scientific investigation. It is an enriching experience for students who have a passion for science and a desire to learn through discovery and innovation.

During the meeting, families will receive important information about the Science Fair process, project requirements, timelines, and available resources. We encourage all interested students and parents to attend and learn more about this exciting opportunity.

These documents outline our shared commitment to supporting student success through strong partnerships between families, students, and the school. Country Springs is seeking parent and community members to serve on a committee that provides valuable input on our District's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Committee feedback plays an important role in helping ensure we meet the needs of all students, with a particular focus on supporting our English learners.

Please review the attached flyer for additional information. The first committee meeting will be held on September 15, 2026, at the Professional Development Center II, 4545 Danito Ct., Chino, CA.

We made it to September! Woohoo! Fall and cooler weather is so close! What a month of easing back into the school year, teaching our All Stars our school-wide expectations, handing out Trading Cards for good behavior and choices, Healthy Minds Lessons in classrooms and seeing the growth of our amazing All Stars. Teaching and talking to your All Star students on ways to manage their emotions at the beginning of the school year can help your students learn (or re-learn) the skills they will need to adjust to the school year and navigate the challenges that the upcoming months may bring. Something fun that we talked about in our Healthy Minds Lessons was the importance of how the adults in our lives can help us and make sure that we have Healthy Minds. Incorporate a conversation with your All Star to see what fun activity you all can do as a family that makes them smile. In September, I will be hosting our first Social Emotional Lunchtime Activity with the students! This year, I will continue to focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL), positive self talk, building positive relationships, friendship skills, social skills and the importance of conversation skills.

Also, don't forget to recognize and reward your All Stars at home! Use the At-Home Trading Card to celebrate students who are following family expectations and making positive choices.

We’re excited to introduce a new system to help keep our Lost and Found organized and efficient. At the end of each month, all unclaimed items will be cleared out and donated to support families in need. This not only helps us maintain a tidy campus but also ensures that forgotten items find a second life.

To minimize the number of lost items, we kindly ask that all personal belongings—including jackets, water bottles, and lunch pails—are clearly labeled with your child’s name. Labeled items are much more likely to be returned quickly!

We also encourage parents to remind their children to check the Lost and Found regularly. As part of this new system, we’ll be incorporating student reminders at school to help build this habit.

Next donation will be on September 25, 2026.
