Week of 3/20/26

Dear All Star Families,

We are thrilled to share that this year’s Ultra Fun Run was a tremendous success! Our All Stars showed incredible energy, teamwork, and school spirit throughout the event, making it a memorable day for everyone.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the volunteers who helped make this day possible. Your time, enthusiasm, and support are what help bring events like this to life. We truly appreciate your dedication to our Country Springs PFA and to our students.

Because of your involvement and encouragement, our All Stars enjoyed a wonderful opportunity to stay active, build community, and celebrate together.

Prizes will be distributed next week, so stay tuned!

We are all looking forward to our Kindergarten Circus next week on Wednesday evening! This special event is a cherished tradition at Country Springs, and our kindergarten performers have been working hard to put on a fantastic show.

Students in grades 1–6 will also have the opportunity to watch the performance during the school day on Wednesday—and we know they won't want to miss it!

We are proud to continue this fun and memorable tradition and can’t wait to share this year’s amazing show with our school community.

April is Autism Awareness Month - Wear Red April 8th!

April is Autism Acceptance Month, a time to celebrate and support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Autism is a neurological difference that affects how some people communicate, interact, learn, and experience the world around them. Because autism is a spectrum, every individual has unique strengths, interests, and ways of learning.
As a school community, we can show acceptance by practicing kindness, patience, and inclusion. We invite students and staff to wear red on Wednesday, April 8 in recognition of World Autism Awareness Day and to help spread awareness and acceptance. Together, we can celebrate the differences that make every student unique and valued

Lost and Found UPDATE

We’re excited to introduce a new system to help keep our Lost and Found organized and efficient. At the end of each month, all unclaimed items will be cleared out and donated to support families in need. This not only helps us maintain a tidy campus but also ensures that forgotten items find a second life.

To minimize the number of lost items, we kindly ask that all personal belongings—including jackets, water bottles, and lunch pails—are clearly labeled with your child’s name. Labeled items are much more likely to be returned quickly!

We also encourage parents to remind their children to check the Lost and Found regularly. As part of this new system, we’ll be incorporating student reminders at school to help build this habit.

Items were donated on February 27, 2026. Next donation will be on March 27, 2026.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school environment organized, responsible, and sustainable!

Counselor's Corner

MARCH IS HERE! Last month we had an amazing month of kindness that was highlighted during our annual Kindness Week. This month we are celebrating Read Across America Week and this is a chance for you and your student to talk about the benefits of reading which include cognitive development, improved imagination, improved language skills and developing a bond with your student. National SEL Week coincides with Read Across America and according to CASEL.org, “Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions. Students in SEL programs are more likely to attend school and receive better grades, and are less likely to have conduct problems. Successful infusion of SEL can result in positive behaviors, increased academic success, and caring communities. My March activities with the students this month will focus on the importance of SEL and I am so excited for all of the fun things we have planned for our All Stars in Trimester 3.
