Week of 3/13/26

Dear All Star Families,

Ultra Fun Run – Don’t Forget to Sign Up and Support Our School!

Our Ultra Fun Run is just around the corner on March 20, 2026, and we need YOU to help make it a huge success! If you haven’t signed up or donated yet, there’s still time—and every contribution makes a meaningful difference for our students.

The funds raised from this exciting annual event directly support many of the programs that make Country Springs such a special place for our children to learn and grow. Your generosity helps provide:

  • Field trips that bring learning to life
  • Instructional materials to support classroom excellence
  • Art Palette Program
  • Performing Arts opportunities
  • Special programs that enrich our campus in countless ways

None of these opportunities would be possible without the partnership of our amazing PFA and families like all of you. Country Springs truly thrives because of your commitment and support.

Let’s make this year’s Ultra Fun Run our best one yet—thank you for helping us continue to provide unforgettable experiences for our students!

Good luck to our Odessey of the Mind Teams this weekend! They are competing in qualifying rounds at the Barnhart School. If they succeed, they will continue competing! We are cheering for you!

There has has been 127 tardies this week. The time did "Spring Forward", hopefully everyone is adjusted to the new time and will be on prompt next week! We appreciate every All Star and look forward to seeing them every day.

Lost and Found UPDATE

We’re excited to introduce a new system to help keep our Lost and Found organized and efficient. At the end of each month, all unclaimed items will be cleared out and donated to support families in need. This not only helps us maintain a tidy campus but also ensures that forgotten items find a second life.

To minimize the number of lost items, we kindly ask that all personal belongings—including jackets, water bottles, and lunch pails—are clearly labeled with your child’s name. Labeled items are much more likely to be returned quickly!

We also encourage parents to remind their children to check the Lost and Found regularly. As part of this new system, we’ll be incorporating student reminders at school to help build this habit.

Items were donated on February 27, 2026. Next donation will be on March 27, 2026.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school environment organized, responsible, and sustainable!

Counselor's Corner

MARCH IS HERE! Last month we had an amazing month of kindness that was highlighted during our annual Kindness Week. This month we are celebrating Read Across America Week and this is a chance for you and your student to talk about the benefits of reading which include cognitive development, improved imagination, improved language skills and developing a bond with your student. National SEL Week coincides with Read Across America and according to CASEL.org, “Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions. Students in SEL programs are more likely to attend school and receive better grades, and are less likely to have conduct problems. Successful infusion of SEL can result in positive behaviors, increased academic success, and caring communities. My March activities with the students this month will focus on the importance of SEL and I am so excited for all of the fun things we have planned for our All Stars in Trimester 3.
