CLUBHOUSE NEWS - 8/8/25 - 8/15/25

Greetings All Star Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year at the ball park! We are excited to have our All Stars back and we look forward to a wonderful and eventful school year! Thank you to all the parents who attended New Parent Orientation, Kindergarten Orientation, and Meet Your Teacher last week. We are sure these events made the transition easier for your All Stars and we are grateful that we have parents who support all our events at Country Springs.

We have some WARM days ahead of us, please make sure you send your student with sunscreen and plenty of water. We will be eating in the Hall of Fame, often, due to the extreme heat. Students will have some outside recess time, depending on the tempature/weather. (Note: Remember to label all water bottles, lunch boxes, and sweaters/jackets).

Parking lot safety is a major concern at Country Springs. Please follow ALL parking lot rules, use crosswalks, and follow staff directions. If we all follow the rules the drop off and pick up times will run smoothly!

Parents - if you have a grandparent or other caretaker picking up your All Star, please relay safety messages to them. See "Morning Procedures and Parking Lot Etiquette" with Map at the bottom of this communication for more information.

Here are some upcoming events at the ballpark:

8/12 - PFA Meeting @ 8:15am in Library

8/13 - Family Dine Out - BJ's Pizza (all day)

8/13 - PFA Concession Sales @ 11am

8/20 - Back to School Night 5:30pm - 7pm (1st - 6th)

8/22 - Ice Cream Truck @ 2:30pm

After School Pick Up

All Star Parents,

As student exit the gates of school at 2:30pm, please stand back and allow them to walk out. The students need a clear path to exit, and the crowds of parents do not allow students to move forward out of school. In addition, do not stand on the planters for the safety of all students and parents. Thank you for your cooperation!

This Tuesday, 8/12/25, is the first PFA Meeting of the school year in the Country Springs Library. Please join us and get involved in our wonderful PFA. The PFA is committed to volunteering and raising funds to enrich our students' education throughout the school year. It is a very fulfilling experience for parents and is much appreciated by the Country Springs students and staff.

Counselor's Corner

HELLO ALL STAR PARENTS! Welcome to the 2025/2026 school year. I hope you had a summer full of fun, rest, and wonderful memories. My name is Ms. Ruiz and I am so excited to be back here at Country Springs this year as your School Counselor. It’s been amazing to see students back on campus, ready to take on the year with curiosity and enthusiasm! Our classrooms are already full of smiles, questions, and wonder—these amazing kids are soaking up all the goodness a fresh school year has to offer. We’ve planned so many exciting events this school year, and I’m thrilled to share them with your students! This month we will be focusing on Healthy Minds Classroom Lessons. We will talk about managing emotions, feelings and coping skills to go alongside it. My door is always open to families and students who need a listening ear, a problem-solving partner, or just someone to talk to. Feel free to say hello when you see me around campus or reach out to me via email at julia_ruiz@chino.k12.ca.us. I’m excited to get to know you all and help make this school year the best it can be!

Morning Procedures and Parking Lot Etiquette
